My brother’s surprise arrival home last night, just in time for the end of the Easter weekend, reminded me that even when times are rough it is good to have family. Although my personal definition of “family” involves my immediate relatives, it may not for you. Your family may be adopted relatives. It may be friends. It may even be animals. Whoever or whatever your family is, whether they live in the same building as you or across the world, keep them close in your heart and mind. They are good to have near, even on rainy days.
If you have a reason to keep living, whether it be big or small, simple or complex, send it with a photo and a brief explanation to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your photo and writing will be featured on the Amber Typewriter in weeks to come!
